- Preheat oven to 400 F
- Into a glass baking dish, add in the 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger, ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon parsley, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, diced jalapeno (optional), ¼ cup olive, and ½ cup soy sauce.
- Give all these ingredients a quick mix.
- Spread out the salmon fillets into the baking dish. Make sure that each salmon fillet gets contact with this delicious marinade.
- Marinade salmon for 10 minutes on each side.
- Place the baking dish into the bottom rack of a preheated oven. Bake for 10 minutes. You can tell that the salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork, or if you see a white substance on the surface of the salmon fillets.
- Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro, and serve.
Notes
You can serve this dish with some rice, stir-fried broccoli or roasted asparagus, and some mixed greens berry salad.
