Gluten Free Sfeeha or Lahm Bi Ajeen – Gluten Free Mediterranean Meat Pies

These meat pies are one of the most famous food items in Lebanon. As a child, they were my favorite type of “Pizza”. I still have fond memories of this one time when my father took me and my mom with him to Jbail and got us the most amazing meat pies that I have ever had from this little tiny shop by the side of the road. Ever since I was determined to achieve the same taste that my memories always take me to whenever I think of meat pies. I believe that I came pretty close to the taste. The secret is in the meat mixture, and the exciting thing is that these ones are gluten-free.

Rice With Vermicelli

Rice with vermicelli is served alongside many Lebanese dishes. This is a gluten free recipe, but you can also make it with regular vermicelli. I will be mentioning this recipe a lot. So you might want to keep a copy of it in an easily accessible place. This is my son’s favorite rice. He loves it so much that he asks me to make it often. I’ll have to admit, I like it a lot as well even though rice is not my most favorite food in the world.

Hummus Recipe

This hummus recipe is one of the best flavorful dips. If you are looking for an authentic hummus recipe, you’ve got it right here. Hummus is served as part of the whole Maza package. This amazing dip is simply named after chickpeas. Maza is sort of like the appetizers that are served before the main meal.

Gluten Free Bread Recipe

I remember how hard it was to find gluten-free bread in the store. When I did find it, I thought it tasted like dirt, and I had to drink a gulp of water with every bite because it was soooo dry. I will admit, however, it has come a long way, but it is way too expensive. That’s why I created this recipe. This bread is much cheaper, more delicious, moister, and does not crumble before it gets in your mouth.
