Baba Ganoush

Baba Ganoush is one of the staple recipes in the Lebanese home cuisine. It is so decadent with its chard unique flavor. If you havenโ€™t tried it yet, I highly recommend you do. It is very similar to Hummus in its ingredients, but in my opinion, this tastes even better than Hummus, and as a bonus it is low carb.

Gluten Free Sambousek

This is one of those recipes that is served as an appetizer or a side dish at parties and almost every occasion. Lebanon has a very special entrรฉe dishes or appetizers that are served together before any main meal. These dishes are known as Maza. They might differ in taste from restaurant to restaurant, or from house to house, but they are still mainly the same dishes. Some of these dishes are Tabouleh, Hummus, Sambousek, Kbeb, and many others. Whenever I was served these dishes before the main meal, I always thought there is no way I will be able to stuff the main meal into my belly. Besides, these dishes are so delicious on their own I am not sure I want to get to the main meal.

Rice With Vermicelli

Rice with vermicelli is served alongside many Lebanese dishes. This is a gluten free recipe, but you can also make it with regular vermicelli. I will be mentioning this recipe a lot. So you might want to keep a copy of it in an easily accessible place. This is my sonโ€™s favorite rice. He loves it so much that he asks me to make it often. Iโ€™ll have to admit, I like it a lot as well even though rice is not my most favorite food in the world.

Hummus Recipe

This hummus recipe is one of the best flavorful dips. If you are looking for an authentic hummus recipe, youโ€™ve got it right here. Hummus is served as part of the whole Maza package. This amazing dip is simply named after chickpeas. Maza is sort of like the appetizers that are served before the main meal.
